About The Dancing Dove

The Dancing Dove started really simply: I wanted to make journals that actually feel good to use.

Not stiff or overly perfect. Just something warm, nostalgic, and easy to reach for when you want to write things down—big thoughts, tiny thoughts, messy thoughts, all of it.

I’ve always loved anything that feels a little nostalgic. Old photos, vintage artwork, handwritten notes tucked into random places… things that make you feel something even if you can’t fully explain why. That’s the feeling I try to bring into every journal I create.

I use vintage books as the base of my journals because of how it holds memories. From your childhood favorite to your child’s favorite, it is all here to transform into something timeless.

These journals are meant to be used in real life. For writing, planning, sketching, or just having a quiet place to land your thoughts for a minute. Nothing fancy required. Just a pen and whatever’s on your mind.

The name “The Dancing Dove” came from wanting something soft and light, something that feels like movement and memory at the same time. A little space for creativity to feel easy again.

And the “dancing” part? That’s you. The way you can move through ideas, memories, seasons of life, creativity. Your handmade journal is just here to hold that while you do your thing.
